Hope you’re doing well! I’m reaching out to share an exciting local event happening Sunday, May 18th at Hyena’s Comedy Club in Fort Worth — a special Stand Up For Pits charity show featuring nationally known comedians Ralph Barbosa, Head Richards, Ben Creed, John Brown, and William Lee Martin.
The event benefits Stand Up for Pits and The Love Pit, a Dallas-based nonprofit working to rescue and rehabilitate pit bull-type dogs. In addition to the comedy show, there will be adoptions, a donation drive, and a silent auction — all supporting local shelters including Dallas Animal Services and Balch Springs Animal Services.

A night of comedy, compassion, and canine cause at Hyena’s Comedy Club
Get ready to laugh for a cause at the Stand Up For Pits charity event at Hyena’s Comedy
Club in Fort Worth! This unique night of comedy and kindness supports pit bull-type
dogs in need and features an all-star lineup of comedians and community involvement
that’ll make tails wag and hearts melt.
The event features hilarious performances from fan favorites: Ralph Barbosa, Head
Richards, Ben Creed, John Brown, and William Lee Martin—all donating their time to
help raise funds and awareness for this important cause. Ticket proceeds for the show
benefit The Stand Up For Pits Foundation. There will also be a silent auction with
proceeds benefiting The Love Pit Foundation, a Dallas-based nonprofit committed to
saving and rehabilitating pit bull-type dogs and promoting responsible pet ownership.
The evening will start with adoptions and a donation drive.
We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the show, and help us spread the word
about the importance of compassion for all animals. We are also taking donations for
the silent auction, having a donation drive before the show for some local shelters and
opportunities for adoptions!
