Enhanced Montoypes – Creating Encaustic Monotypes
and Embellishing with PanPastels, Watercolor and Inks
An all new, very special Enhanced Encaustic Monotype workshop!
Saturday, August 30th, 11am to 4pm
Monotypes are an original, one of a kind, printmaking process of laying down your paint, in this case, on a heated surface with encaustic paint, and then gently laying the paper down to pick up the beautiful painting created there. Then, we’ll be adding PanPastels, Watercolor and Alcohol Inks to enhance in gorgeous translucent layers.
We’ll be working on the Encaustic Monotype Hotboxes with all of my large bars of R&F and special hand mixed paints! AND … we’ll be working on various gorgeous papers, including Kozo, Masa and Mulberry, in a variety of sizes including – all the same materials used in the One on Ones!
The session is limited to 4 people only!
All supplies included but bring any special non-coated papers, encaustic paint, watercolor or PanPastels you’d like to use.
